Airborne
The angular letterforms are derived from lettering on Naval airplanes from World War II. The simple, geometric forms help with legibility and are easily identifiable. The purpose of making this typeface was for a client who created replicas of the aircraft that bore these letters. The technical challenge in this typeface that it needed to fit a specific height and width, so that when applied to the replica aircraft it displayed accurately to the time period.
