Labrador Style

When I first met with Barrett, the owner of Labrador Style, he was using an identity system that was a couple of years old. We first identified the need to create a new identity. The company was rather long, so we first began by exploring naming alternatives. By breaking down the name into a mnemonic device it became more recognizable. His brand mark became an icon, rather than text.

For the Web site, I took the raw nature of his clothing and translated that into a web experience. To bring focus to his current fashion line, I placed the newest clothing line imagery first and foremost on the page. Information was grouped into two categories on the sides of the site. The left side relates to his Fashion Lines, and the right side is for news and contact information.
